About The Event
This band emulates two of the great tenor sax collaborations: Al Cohn and Zoot Sims (featuring Al's wonderful compositions), with tributes to another famous partnership – the 'Tough Tenors' - Eddie 'Lockjaw' Davis and Johnny Griffin. Mark and Andy also play clarinets together in another nod to Al and Zoot. Along the way you will also hear the pairing of one tenor and one clarinet, plus a smattering of flute!
