A fantastically exciting, playful and inventive saxophonist, Art Themen has been a beloved character of the British jazz scene for over 50 years, in the bands of Alexis Korner and Stan Tracey among many others, and remains as brilliant and inimitable as ever. His new Organ Trio features the soulful and genuinely groovy organ playing of Pete Whittaker and George Double , who has backed Shirley Bassey, Jack Jones and of course is a regular visitor to Annie's Jazz, on drums. Expect mischief, twinkly charm and downhome grit from a genuine treasure of British jazz.
