Dance Night with Martin McNeill and his Bottleneck Blues

Goodtime blues, swing and boogie from a master of the slide guitar and his dynamic band.

Martin McNeill mixes Delta, Chicago and West Coast blues with jazzy grooves. While many modern blues acts favour heavy blues-rock, Martin takes a more mellow approach, putting soul and swing into his singing and playing.

He is a renowned exponent of the bottleneck technique; using a slide to create notes. His recent CD has been dubbed “British blues at its best.”

The band members are stars in their own right as well as being regular members of Bottleneck Blues for between 10 and 15 years.
