About The Event
The Dulcie May Quintet - Latin Jazz Fiesta! Plus tributes to Chet Baker, Eydie Gorme, Sarah Vaughan and Julie London.
Dulcie's stellar band; Steve Fishwick on Trumpet, Clark Tracey on Drums, Jerome Davies on Double Bass and Stephen Bridgland on Guitar, will be combining a repertoire from their most recent projects. You can expect to hear a selection of classics by Chet Baker, Julie London, Sarah Vaughan, Eydie Gorme and some original compositions, including a Samba and a blues from Dulcie's forthcoming release.
The band are Kent and London based with Dulcie coming from Ramsgate where she relocated to about 11 years ago.
Dulcie started off singing original songs and playing the guitar, playing gigs and busking around Canterbury, she moved on to theatres such as The Marlowe Theatre, The Astor Theatre. Dulcie continues to perform at Jazz Clubs across the country. 2024 is a comeback year after a three…
