About The Event
Special guest vocalist, Fay Jones.
Making a first appearance at Annie's Jazz, as part of his National Tour, Ed Bentley is one of the most important B3 Hammond Organists of the modern era.
Joined by a tight band that includes:
- Chris Cobbson (Guitar)
- Dave Lewis (Tenor Sax)
- Alun Harries (Drums)
Bentley mixes up a potent gumbo stew of Soul, Jazz and R&B.
Having released a string of critically acclaimed albums and performed everywhere from Ronnie Scott's to the Royal Festival Hall and top venues all over the world, it's hardly surprising that he is one of the most in-demand Hammond players on both sides of the Atlantic, working with an illustious list f legendary names, including South African Jazz Trumpeter, Hugh Maselkela, and Soul superstars Deniece Williams, Percy Sledge, Rufus Thomas and George Williams (Tymes), plus Jazz legends such as Irene Ried and Al Casey, to mention a few.
Don't miss this opportunity to see a true Hammond master at work.
