About The Event
Doors 6.30pm music starts at 8pm.
After a massive success in 2019 it is an immense pleasure to welcome back this ensemble of wonderful musicians. It was a very special evening of magical music with a big emphasis on latin percussion. There will be special guests & always a surprise or two.
The versatile and sultry vocalist Natalia Farran fronts this exciting ensemble, with the fabulous Phil Phillips on piano and vocals. Featuring local legend Marc Cecil on drums, double bass Murray Salmon & a very special guest, Ramon Farran, on percussion.
Join us for an evening of traditional Cuban boleros, jazz standards with a twist, rootsy and innovative flamenco-jazz, Latin percussion solos, bossa nova and even a touch of bebop.
Phil Phillips and Ramon Farran played jazz together in 1960s Spain - they're now reunited by fate, almost half a century later. This is going to be joyful reunion of old friends and an all-round fun evening of wonderful music brought to you by musicians of the highest caliber. Prepare to be entertained... and bring your dancing shoes!
