"The Tricity Vogue All-Girl Swing Band are not only full to the brim with top-quality, virtuosic musicianship, they bring a level of glamour and theatricality rarely seen on the London jazz scene." Passing Clouds

"Miss Vogue and her ukulele - it's cabaret to run down side-streets for. Just get there early." Time Out London Critic's Choice

Tricity Vogue's All Girl Swing Band regularly fills the dance floor at swing nights, parties, weddings and balls. It’s vintage swing with a modern twist,  incorporating much-loved 1920s and 1930s tunes, pop numbers given the retro treatment, and many of Tricity's cheeky originals.

Tricity Vogue formed her All Girl Swing Band in 2011 inspired by bandleader Ivy Benson, whose All Girl Swing Band became the BBC Resident Dance Band in 1943 and was the first band to play in liberated Berlin after World War Two. Ivy Benson, like Tricity herself, came from Leeds, and it was at the unveiling of a blue plaque at Ivy Benson's birthplace that Tricity met members of the original band and was inspired to start her own all female jazz ensemble.

The band have played a glittering array of venues so far, including the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room, and Wilton’s Music Hall, which they sold out in July 2019. They’re excited to be adding Annie’s to their list!

"Tricity Vogue and her band work their magic with jazzy covers of modern classics… and soon the floor is full." London Lite

"WOW. Just WOW. They absolutely lit up the room with their sound, talent and energy. Originals, retro styled pop numbers and the wonderful tap dancing of Josephine Shaker (at one point dressed as a penguin!) blew the audience away. A REAL highlight of my festival weekend with no doubt.
